Title: Regional Organizer
Location: St. Louis, MO
Hours: Full Time

Primary Responsibilities:
Working closely with State Field Director and Outreach Coordinators, the Regional Organizer will be responsible for managing and implementing all aspects of Missouri Coalition for Lifesaving Cures’ Outreach Plan. Specific responsibilities include:

• Implementation of the approved Outreach Plan for assigned region
• Supervision of the County Chairs and volunteers
• Recruitment of County Chairs (volunteers)
• In coordination with Outreach Coordinators, identifying and building attendance for “Action Events” and Speakers’ Bureau events
• Tracking accurate data from the various “Action Events”
• Overseeing coordination and communication between the Outreach Coordinators, County Chairs and volunteers
• Manage, in coordination with the Outreach Coordinators and County Chairs, recruitment of volunteers
• Collection and coordination of new membership cards
• Other duties as assigned by the State Field Director

Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required

Experience:
• Experience with at least one political campaign and/or community advocacy/non-profit organization
• Comprehensive and demonstrated community organizing experience
• Ability to develop metrics and measure effectiveness of community events
• Strong organizational, conceptualization, and planning skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
• Outstanding oral and written communication skills combined with excellent interpersonal skills, with an emphasis on problem-solving and sensitivity to diversity
• Team player who functions well in fast-paced environments and willing to work long hours and weekends
